Assistant Brand Manager, Marketing

JOB SUMMARY

The individual will work side by side with the Product Manager and assist with their daily duties and responsibilities. Assistant write correspondence, produce various reports, respond to requests, compile materials for promotion, and perform other related tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-level administrative support
  • Management, monitoring and classification of the different files and projects
  • Data input
  • Compile and produce sales, inventory and distribution reports
  • Perform preliminary analysis of brand performance (sales results, costs, profitability, etc.)
  • Create presentations on different products for the sales force
  • Prepare communications related to product launches, price changes, promotions, etc.
  • Inventory management of products and promotional materials
  • Prepare the necessary documentation for business reviews
  • Track and update sales forecasts
  • Compile and send monthly debit memos to suppliers
  • Track and place display orders
  • Keep promotional calendars up to date
  • Follow and note the promotions of the competition (Publisac, internet)
  • Attend the preparation and conduct of marketing events
  • Sending samples
  • Translate various types of documents
  • Ensure clear and concise communication with suppliers
  • Closely work with the sales department
  • Perform other tasks as required by the portfolio

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree (DEC) in Administration or relevant experience of at least 5 years
  • French-English bilingualism, both written and spoken
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of visual software an asset skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

Full-time and permanent office work. The regular work week is 37.5 hours, from 8:30 to 17:00. Work that can be done under pressure during peak periods and may require flexibility on occasion.
