Data Entry Clerk, Accounting

The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for data entry and processing for the Accounting Department.

MAIN DUTIES
Data Entry and Data Processing Clerks perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Analysis of deductions received from customers for contractual agreements
  • Reconciliation of ledger accounts
  • Analysis of accumulated and paid balances by customers
  • Help for the month-end - accounting
  • Enter data into computer databases, spreadsheets or other models using keyboards, mice, optical scanners, speech recognition software or other data entry tools
  • Recording of master data in the system
  • Receive and save invoices, queries, forms, records and other documents for data entry
  • Check if the data is accurate and complete

    REQUIREMENTS

    • DEP or DEC in accounting
    • Have previously worked with client-imposed payables (an asset)
    • General knowledge of computer science

    • French and English languages written and spoken
